Welcome to Le Vent Du Nord, your gateway to a delightful taste of Belgium nestled in the heart of Milan at Via Sannio, 18. This charming Belgian restaurant radiates a cozy and chic atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions.

Here, the star of the menu undoubtedly shines in the form of their mouthwatering moules et frites. Imagine savoring the rich flavor of mussels, expertly prepared and served with a generous side of crispy French fries—a classic that beckons to your taste buds with every bite. The restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat mussels option paired harmoniously with an impressive selection of authentic Belgian beers, making it a haven for seafood enthusiasts and beer lovers alike. The inviting atmosphere is complemented by warm, friendly service that receives consistent praise. Ryan Aktan notes that the staff are “always friendly and cheerful,” enhancing the overall dining experience. The restaurant’s quaint street dining setup is particularly enjoyable during the warmer months, allowing you to soak up the vibrant Milanese ambiance without the hustle and bustle of neighboring eateries.

However, Le Vent Du Nord isn't just about mussels; it caters to various palates. While the Mussels are a highlight, there are also testimonials mentioning that the menu could expand its vegetarian offerings, as noted by customer Alessandro. For those seeking a sweet ending, the chocolate waffle has garnered mixed reviews; while Kevin Fahd recommends it, he suggests it could use a bit more flair to elevate its flavor.

With dinners here typically averaging around €25 per person, Le Vent Du Nord presents an affordable option in Milan, melding great food with reasonable prices, as highlighted by several satisfied patrons. Whether you're dining with family, friends, or that special someone, you can expect to have a fantastic meal in a setting that feels like a warm embrace.

Booking a table in advance is recommended, given the restaurant’s popularity among both locals and visitors. So why not immerse yourself in a genuine Belgian experience? Le Vent Du Nord awaits, ready to take you on a culinary journey that will have you dreaming of Belgium long after you leave.

If you wanna have a taste of Brussel couisine while you’re in Milan, this is definitely the place for you. You can have a large variety of mussels which come with french fries all you can eat, served with typical belgian beers. The restaurant is always full so it’s better to reserve a table. The prices are reasonable, you can have dinner with 25€ per person. For those who don’t like mussels , there are also other options of belgian dishes.

Cozy, chic, and warm atmosphere. I end up walking by it around twice a day and the staff are always friendly and cheerful (they also speak English very well!). Nice street dining in warmer times without the crowdedness of any other nearby restaurants. The Mussels they serve are good quality and their recipes are flavorful and worth the price (which is actually pretty reasonable for Milanese standards!) Off of their lunch menu, the Gaufre Madame is particularly good. Amazing taste, perfect portion size, and quickly served. They have a very wide selection of beers, most if not all I believe are from Belgium. All in all, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Enjoyed the service and mussels here with my family. I thought it was a pub, as my husband wanted to try the beer, but it is more of a restaurant. He was very happy with the beer! Service was great.

Really recommend this place for affordable moulles et frites! Chocolate waffle needs work however, it tastes a bit bland, more sauce would help!

The food was great and the atmosphere was nice and cozy. I only wish there were more vegetarian options, there aren't many.

We’ve been meaning to go here for months and finally made it. Excellent selection of Belgian beers, succulent mussels, and a really tasty selection of other foods. The pork knuckle was perfect! The staff was very friendly and for those that don’t speak Italian very well, they are super patient.
